Theoretical courses can be held in person or online. They are organized for groups of at least 15 participants.

Away courses: if you wish, we can hold a course in your facility. The inviting institution covers all the expenses of the course, including the accommodation and travel costs of the instructor as well as the rental fees of the venue in which the course is to take place.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, away courses are currently unavailable.

  1. Introduction to creating educational and treatment programs developing deficit behaviors in children with ASD.
  2. Behavioral treatment methods to aid in teaching.
  3. Teaching techniques used in treating children with autism.
  4. Basic educational and treatment programs.
  5. Advanced educational and treatment programs.

STEP III

  1. Discussing problems related to previously conducted treatment.
  2. Teaching leisure activities.
  3. Developing verbal behaviors in children with ASD.
  4. Recording and analyzing the progress of your student.
  5. Dealing with problem behaviors.

Reducing behavior problems in children with autism

  • Participation in each lesson is obligatory.

  1. Specifying deficit behaviors of the student.
  2. Creating an educational and treatment program: defining a target behavior, describing the teaching method.
  3. Describing specific steps of the program: behavior shaping.
  4. Collecting intervention data.
  5. Analyzing intervention data.
  6. Creating a more advanced educational and treatment program based on already acquired skills.
  7. Case study.
  8. Solving problems from own work.

 

Activity schedules for children with autism

Course details:

  • Duration: 6 lesson periods
  • Participation in each lesson is obligatory.

  1. Creating activity schedules:
    • Independent play schedule.
    • Daily schedule.
    • Self-care schedule.
  2.  Teaching choice-making.
  3. Activity schedules in shaping social interactions.
  4. How to teach the student to follow an activity schedule.
